The job seeker visa is a type of visa that enables you as a foreign national to temporarily seek for work and carry out work activities for a specified period.
A job seeker visa for Germany allows you a period of six months, it is a national long-stay visa that allows qualified professionals to stay in Germany and explore job opportunities. To be qualified for this Visa, you have to be an adult with adequate qualifications, and have experience in your field for a minimum of 5 years and is able to sustain yourself financially for the period of your stay, you must show that you can speak the German language, you must have a degree that is recognized in Germany.

Required Documents for VISA


These documents are very important for your visa processing.
✓ your visa application form: This is an online form that must be filled out, signed and submitted
✓ Your passport: the basic requirement for traveling is your passport. which must have a validity period of 6months after your departure, has two blank pages and not more than 10 years.

✓ evidence of academic qualifications

✓ prove of academic degree recognition
✓ travel insurance prove
✓ your marriage certificate, family certificate, birth certificate et.c

Go to the nearest German embassy in your country and apply while applying for the visa. Make sure you are applying with original document or certified copies. You also need to authenticate your documents with the embassy, this is because some of your document would require to be translated from English to German to English.
Remember that, it is not a family visa, so you do not need to take your family with you.
The job seeker visa rarely allows you to work unless permitted in the application. So upu have to check with the foreigners authority.
It is not compulsory you must speak German to obtain the job seeker visa unless you have a vocational training
